Needs Of Licensure For Dentists To Start A Dental Clinic
Dentists who apply for licenses can have any one of the following degrees:
- BDS (Bachelor Of Dental Surgery)
- DDS (Doctor Of Dental Surgery)
- DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine)
- Equivalent from the nationally accredited dental colleges or schools

- Obtain a full-time clinical residency program that has a minimum of three years course duration.
- The full-time course of Clinical Master degree of minimum two years.
- Clinical PhD having a minimum of three years course duration.
The specialization certificates with the validity period, will not be invalid at a time of application. Specialists having Tier 1 or 2 qualifications don’t have to experience post qualification of the speciality field.

You can register for the issuance of a dental license. Here are step-by-step procedures to give you better clarity.
- Register at the Dubai Healthcare Authority official port.
- Then register for the license along with your documents.
- List of documents comes under Personal Information.
- Nationally accredited educational qualifications as recognized by DHA.
- Professional Qualification Requirements.
- Official Educational transcripts.
- Whole year’s Mark list.
- Current professional experience based as per DHA PQR criteria.
- Valid professional license for practising expats.
- Registration of the country from last employment.
- Good Standing Certificate not older than 6 months.
- Medical fitness test for applicant aged 65+
